A playlist is a scheduled sequence of digital signage content that plays on your connected screens. You build a playlist by adding images, videos, or web content, then schedule when it should play.
A playlist in Buzzblender can include:
Images — static visuals like promotional graphics, menus, or announcements
Videos — motion content such as product demos, ads, or looping videos
Web content — live webpages, dashboards, or web-based media that updates in real time
You can mix these content types within a single playlist. For example, a restaurant might combine menu images with short promo videos in one playlist.
Playlists are managed from your Buzzblender dashboard and assigned to the screens you've connected. You can publish a playlist to:
A single screen
Multiple selected screens
A screen group
All devices in your account
Each screen can display its own playlist, or you can run the same content across multiple locations from one central playlist.
Playlists use calendar-based scheduling. You control:
When the playlist plays — set specific times of day or days of the week
Where it plays — choose individual screens or groups
How it displays — select fit, stretch, or crop modes to control how content appears on different screen sizes
Once scheduled, your content plays automatically. You can update a playlist from anywhere, and changes sync to your screens in real time.
Playlists are created and managed after you've connected your screens. A typical workflow is:
Connect your devices (LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, Android TV, TitanOs or browser-based screens)
Create a playlist and add your content
Schedule when and where it should play
Publish to your screens
You manage playlists from the Playlist Manager in your Admin Panel at app.buzzblender.com, and use Schedule View to control timing across all your screens.
Playlists let you control your digital signage without touching each screen individually. You can plan content ahead of time, run different promotions at different times of day, and update all your locations from one dashboard. This is what makes Buzzblender work as a remote screen management system — your screens show what you schedule, when you schedule it, without manual intervention.
